Hello!  I paint with oils, acrylics and pastels in a style reminiscent of the California Impressionists.  My paintings seek to capture the unique light and drama of chiefly the California's coast, deserts, mountains, and sea.  I strive to strike an emotional chord of awe, or wonder, or simply the joy of perceiving the natural world outside of the everyday human experience.  I have formally studied art for more than a decade, and work with other local artists to conserve our beautiful environment.  My studio is at my hillside home overlooking Santa Barbara and its coastal mountains.
